Here is an informational video created during my internship at the George and Frances Ball Foundation.

The leadership team at GFBF was preparing to travel to Baltimore to attend the 2026 Cradle to Career Network Convening. Our goal was not only to inform the public of our attendance, but to explain why we were attending.

Oct. 5 in Yorktown, Ind., the George and Frances Ball Foundation got to meet up with Jerry Sweeten, Melinda Sweeten, and Herb Manifold from Ecosystems Connections Institute, LLC, as well as Sarah Reily and Joe Schmees from The Nature Conservancy

Jerry led us on a walk through the river to learn about Eelgrass and how it impacts our ecosystem! Jerry and his team helped to plant several patches of eelgrass at the beginning of summer.
